Ready Enable is seeking a highly motivated and talented Dietitian to join our team. Ready Enable has recently launched it's Mealtime Support Services to a wide variety of clients with disability and mental health conditions.
This is a hybrid role involving client visits in their own home as well as working in our office to create media content and documents to promote nutrition and dietetics for our clients and staff.
**About the role**:
- Work as part of a small, multidisciplinary team to provide personalised nutrition and diet plans for our clients
- Assess and treat clients in their own home, to implement dietetic therapy to improve functional independence and quality of life
- Provide support and training to our team of support workers on supporting clients with meals and implementing their plans
- Create media and training materials for staff and clients on healthy meal strategies
- Provide appropriately targeted education for clients, carers and staff as required
- Ensure appropriate written and verbal communication with key stakeholders as required including timely reports and meal plans
- Communicate and work efficiently and collaboratively with the team to ensure best practice & integrated client care
**About you**:
- Empathy and patience for your clients and a passion for supporting people with disability
- Post graduate qualification or Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics as recognized by the Dietitians Association of Australia.
- Relevant experience in disability/mental health and good knowledge of current NDIS policies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group education skills.
- Experience creating media and documents around nutrition and dietetics for a wide variety of audiences
- Experience working with individuals with disability and mental health conditions on an individual basis
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of the team
- Excellent computer skills, including electronic medical record systems
- Demonstrated ability as an independent worker who can exercise independent professional judgement on routine matters as well as working in a multi-disciplinary team for coordinated care.

- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
