We have a number of positions available for an enthusiastic people looking to start or continue their carpentry apprenticeship in the Tweed Heads area.

If the idea of working with your hands, building structures, and working on construction sites appeals to you, a carpentry apprenticeship ticks all the right boxes. You will get the opportunity to work alongside professional tradespeople and you will learn all aspects of the carpentry industry. You'll work mostly on residential sites which will make getting your contractors and building license easier. You will also receive dedicated support from HIA Apprentices in all aspects of your training and employment.
- Have a great attitude towards work, self-motivated, proactive and willing to learn
- Be punctual, reliable and hardworking
- Be committed to finishing their apprenticeship and become a fully qualified carpenter
- Be a team player
- Have an attention to detail
- Must have a driver’s license or reliable transport
- CI Card (White Card) (or be willing to obtain prior to starting)
