**Overview of Role**:
Jacon Equipment, a business unit of the Maas group MGH(ASX), is currently seeking an organized and motivated warehouse assistant to join our facility based in Brisbane. The warehouse assistant will be responsible for day-to-day warehousing duties including loading/unloading contained and trucks, processing receipts, shelf replenishments, packaging, dispatching, cycle counting and general housekeeping whilst maintaining high EHS standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Contribute towards achieving EHS objectives and operational KPI’s in compliance with all company’s policies
- Responsible for areas within warehouse e.g., EHS, receiving, despatch, inventory accuracy and continuous improvement initiatives
- Liaise with supply chain team, customers, suppliers, and transport companies to deliver shipments within agreed schedules
- Loading/unloading containers and trucks
- Check deliveries against delivery dockets and ensure quality
- Process receipts
- Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location
- Carry out perpetual and periodic stocktakes and achieve a high degree of line accuracy (98%line accuracy)
- Problem solving skills within the warehouse
- Prioritise the day-to-day tasks to achieve operational KPI’s
- Package items and label correctly
- Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisor
- Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles
- Work as an active team member to complete team goals
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic.

Required skills and experience:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills, excellent time management skills and ability to work unsupervised.
- Possess effective customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
- Display excellent judgement at all times.
- Good communication and follow up skills to communicate progress with Manager as required.
- Experience in Mining, Infrastructure and civil construction segments
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (MS Word and Excel) and other software packages relevant to the position.
- Current driver license.
