**Why your role matters**:
As the Research Associate/Post-Doctoral Fellow (Level A) you will contribute towards the research effort of the ARC Centre for Next-Gen Architectural Manufacturing (Arch_Manu) and develop your research expertise through the pursuit of defined projects relevant to your field of research.

The role of Research Associate/Post-Doctoral Fellow reports to the Centre Director, M. Hank Haeusler and has no direct reports.

Please note, this position is based in Sydney, Australia.

**About the role**:

- Contribute both independently and as a team member in collaborative Arch_Manu research with a focus to enhance the quality of the Centre’s research outcomes.
- Conduct research (as per the norms of the discipline) and/or provide research support to Arch_Manu research teams to create scholarly output that is recognised by peers.
- Conduct research while embedded within industry partner offices for defined periods of time.
- Undertake discipline-appropriate research activities, e.g. surveys, literature reviews, data gathering and/or recording of results using appropriate research methods.
- Support the dissemination of Arch_Manu research outcomes through appropriate channels and outlets, such as Q1 journals and the development of reports, white papers and training content for industry.

**Who you are**:
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience
- Proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with disciplinary knowledge and industry developments.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake high quality academic research and conduct independent research in collaboration with industry partners, with limited supervision.
- Demonstrated experience in data collection methods, analysis, and report writing skills.
- Demonstrated track record of publications and conference presentations relative to opportunity.
- Evidence of high-level interpersonal skills, including excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
