**Clinical Care Consultant**

BodeWell Community Care is the newly branded home care division of Arcare Home Care, a family-owned company with a 40-year history of providing five-star care. We provide home care support and services for older clients and those with disabilities in Victoria and Queensland. **About the role**:
Reporting to the State Team Leader of Services, and to the State Manager for organisation wide training initiatives, this exciting role involves providing clinical assessments, development and monitoring of care plans for clients alongside communicating and working with clients and staff to direct and ensure appropriate clinical management is implemented. In addition, as part of the Clinical Care Consultant Team, you will be involved in providing infection control training for staff. To facilitate this, we provide you with best practice training and participation in the Arcare/BodeWell monthly RN Infection Control update and in-service meetings ensuring you are across and can contribute to continuous improvement and best practice. Alongside fellow Clinical Care Consultants, you will also play a key advisory role on the BodeWell Clinical Governance Committee.

**About You**:

- Tertiary qualification in Nursing
- Current nursing registration with the nursing and midwifery board of Australia
- National police check (**within 12 months or NDIS Screening Check**:

- Working with children’s check-employee
- Right to work - Australian citizen, resident or hold a valid visa
- Well-developed organisational and administrative skills taking pride in accuracy and attention to detail
- Highly developed ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- IT Skills - including use of the internet, and Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
- Desire to maintain currency of knowledge and share learnings
- Valid driver’s license (need to have comprehensive car insurance)
- Proof of covid and flu vaccinations

**Responsibilities include**:

- Liaison with community services eg ACAT, Hospitals, GPs Retirement Villages and other clinical and community service providers
- Liaison with clients, families, care providers and our Care Coordination Teams
- Conducting assessments and progress reviews
- Partnering with clients and carers to develop and document care and support plans within budget parameters
- Providing infection control training for staff including PSWs and ensuring resources remain up to date
- Providing input and advice to the BodeWell Clinical Governance Committee and Quality and Risk Management Team
