Dental Receptionist

Our family-focussed practice is seeking a dedicated dental receptionist to join our small and friendly dental team. The role is 4 days per week.

The role consists of mainly reception duties, but will include training for dental assisting. There will be a requirement to perform both duties in the course of the week.

Reception duties:

- Meeting and greeting patients
- Scheduling patient appointments and attending to patient queries
- Processing health fund claims and patient payments
- General administrative duties, including organising stock deliveries etc.
- Assisting in the sterilising room as required
- Maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the clinic

Dental Assistant duties
- Assisting general dental procedures, including surgical and implant procedures
- Cleaning and disinfecting instruments in the sterilisation room
- Cleaning and disinfecting the surgery in between patients
- Meeting and greeting patients and ensuring their comfort during dental procedures
- Maintaining accurate sterilisation records
- Setting up for dental X-rays and processing them
- Maintaining stock levels by doing regular stock-taking and re-stocking as necessary
- Maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the clinic

Pay: $25.57 - $35.64 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
