Communications/telecommunications Technician

**Stowe Australia**, one of Australia’s largest Electrical & Communications Contractors is looking to engage the services of a Communications/Telecommunications Technician to work in its busy Client Services Department.

Working in a fast-paced environment across many different customers and locations the ideal applicant would have the ability to plan and coordinate field works and liaise with customers, thus requiring strong verbal and written communications skills.

**Preferred qualifications & skills**:

- Experience in the Telecommunications industry
- Constructing of communications Racks and Active Network equipment.
- Experience with cutting over / changing Active Communications equipment.
- ACMA open cabling registration with structured fibre endorsements.
- The ability to Prep, Splice and Terminate fibre optic cabling.
- OTDR Testing and Fibre Commissioning
- Unrestricted drivers’ licence.
- Computer literacy Microsoft Office Suite

**It would be highly desirable to have experience and qualifications with**:

- NV1 Security Clearance
- Cert III Telecommunications
- Unrestricted Electrical Licence
- Victorian Private Security Licence “installer” registration.

Remuneration and package will be developed depending on abilities and experience.
