We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Salesperson to join our bustling cake shop.

You will be responsible for assisting customers and maximising sales. The role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanour, providing exceptional service throughout their visit.
- Maintain a positive and inviting atmosphere in the shop.
- Assist customers in selecting the perfect cakes for their occasions, providing recommendations and answering inquiries about flavours, designs and ingredients.
- Stay informed about the seasonal offerings and special promotions.
- Receive and process customer orders accurately, ensuring all details are recorded correctly to fulfill customers requirements.
- Manage the point-of-sale system, including cash handling, credit card payments and maintaining accurate record of sales.
- Maintain a clean and organised sales floor, ensuring cakes and displays are properly arranged and stocked.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work in fast-paced environment, multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
- Flexibility to work during peak business hours, weekends and public holidays as needed.
- Honesty and integrity in all dealings.
- Right to work in Australia.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $14.62 - $29.23 per hour
