Customs Broker

Join our freight forwarding team in Bestta. As professional Customs Broker with air & sea capabilities, offering a wide range of import and export freight forwarding services.

This position is responsible for ensuring the customs clearance of goods that enter and exit the country. You will collaborate closely with our customers, government agencies, and internal teams to facilitate efficient customs clearance operations and maintain regulatory compliance.

With a dedicated client services team and a loyal customer base, Bestta specialises in handling a variety of commodities, providing tailored solutions across diverse industries.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Classify and lodge air and sea freight clearances for a wide range of commodities
- Liaise with clients regarding customs requirements to expedite clearances
- Respond to customs inquiries from both colleagues and customers
- Maintain knowledge on current changes to customs processes and regulations
- Provide customs advice and support as required
- Manage tariff concessions and valuation matters

**Essential Requirements**:

- Customs Brokers License
- Proficient with ICS - Integrated Cargo System
- Processing and lodging files
- Compiling and Classifying (adhoc/when required)
- Prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
- Identifying ACS, AQIS and ATO duties and tax initiatives to benefit the client
- Excellent problem-solving customs queries for clients

Pay: $51,315.48 - $131,689.07 per year
