Check out this fantastic Childcare Trainee opportunity with Wollondilly Shire Council. This is a great opportunity for trainees who are passionate about **early childhood education** and are looking to start their career in childcare.

As part of the **18 month traineeship**, you will complete a **Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.**

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Working with children aged 0-12 years old
- Assisting with child observations
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.
- Help children with hygiene duties including nappy changes, washing hands, etc.
- Prepare food and general cleaning duties.
- Arrange play based learning activities.
- Prepare lesson plans.
- Update parents about their children's progress.

The Preschool is operational for 42 weeks per year with non-operational periods amounting to 10 weeks per year (NSW School Holidays). During the School Holidays, School Holiday Care is operational and available to work with children aged 5-12 years.

Current **NSW Working with Children's Check** is **required**.
