An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced **Locum Dermatologist** to join our **Dermatology department.**
**Details of Department**
Austin Health Dermatology Department provides an inpatient, outpatient, and consultancy service. The department plays an important role in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and provides accredited registrar training for the Australasian College of Dermatologists and is affiliated with the University of Melbourne.
**Details of position**
- **Hours per week**: 4 hours per week
- **Employment Status**:Temporary locum
- **Appointment Period**:5 weeks
- **Additional Notes**: Long service leave backfill
The **Locum Dermatologist** will be responsible for providing backfill within the unit, including inpatient and outpatient care.
**To be successful for this role you must**:
- Be a registered Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Hold a Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists
- Have appropriate training and experience applicable to the field of Dermatology
- Demonstrate a commitment to high quality patient care
- Demonstrate a commitment to working as a team member with peer medical, junior medical, nursing and other clinical staff to provide efficient, safe and quality care across the continuum, and
- Demonstrate a commitment to teaching, training and research.
