Architectural Draftsperson

Civikons Design () is seeking a passionate Architectural Draftsperson to join our established and growing team.

We specialise in boutique custom homes, multi-unit developments, medium-density housing, and commercial projects across Victoria. As our team continues to expand, we are looking for a talented Draftsperson to support our exciting range of projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare design and development feasibility studies in line with planning and building regulations.
- Develop concept and contract plans for client approvals
- Produce detailed working drawings, elevations, and documentation
- Collaborate with architects, external consultants, and builders to enhance design outcomes
- Communicate effectively with clients and regulatory authorities to ensure successful project delivery
- Take ownership of the detailing and documentation process
- Identify and implement efficiencies in drafting workflows as project volume increases

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Architectural/design /drafting.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a residential design & drafting role
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies and council approval processes
- A self-starter mindset with the confidence to drive process improvements
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
