Production Plannner

Zoetis is the world's leading animal health company with 30 manufacturing sites globally. Following our acquisition of Jurox Australia, Zoetis is now seeking to employee in the role of production planner. The aim of the role is the coordination of GMS Rutherford planning and production activities to ensure sufficient product supply to meet customer demand within required timeframes.

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- With of focus on the daily and weekly plans for a 12 week planning horizon, coordinate planning and production activities to level production activities and ensure sufficient product supply to meet customer demand within required timeframes.
- Overall review, maintenance and development of the GMS Rutherford planning system and processes in support of product supply
- Advise and facilitate planning activities in all Production departments, including creating of firm work orders in the MRP system.
- Produce and distribute regular reports on the availability of finished products to facilitate the distribution of product to customers (in all markets served by plant).
- Participate in S&OP process; create reports and present business analysis at Monthly Pre-SOP meeting.
- Maintain an accurate database in SAP (Planning datasets, Shop Orders, Capacity) and support Production Managers where necessary to maintain BOMs, Labour and Equipment Routings.
- Ensure strict compliance with the Code of Good manufacturing Practice and other applicable regulatory regimes.
- Produce a Monthly Report, including Monthly Metrics.
- Provide detailed query reports as requested.
- Assist in meeting inventory policies and set targets.
- Involvement in the introduction of new products.
- Create, implement and maintain Planning Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assist in measuring Key Performance Indicators as required.
- Other duties as advised by Site Leader.
