Architectural Draftsperson

**Job description**

We are seeking to hire a draftsperson architect in our building company. The job includes
- Produce full plans that meet the design brief and client objectives
- Town Planning Applications
- Documentation of Working Drawings
- Align drafting plans with local government requirements and legislation
- Document Management & Control
- Interpret and develop client design scopes
- Interaction and communication with external consultants, local and state government authorities, and key stakeholders
- Drafting and detailing

This position is open crucial due to the unique linguistic and cultural requirements of our client base, who are predominantly speakers of Hazaragi with limited English proficiency. This position aims to bridge the communication gap, ensuring accurate transmission of technical information, compliance with building codes, and maintaining positive client relationships. This role is essential for the success of our projects within a culturally diverse clientele, and it contributes to our commitment to effective communication and compliance in the construction industry.
- Completed Advanced Diploma of Building & Design (Architectural)
- Two years plus industry experience in a similar role (preferably)
- Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD (essential)
- 3D Modelling & Rendering Experience (highly regarded but not essential)
- Creativeness but with an eye for detail
- A good understanding of local codes and standard
- Effective time management skills & ability to work within a given deadline
- Ability to use Microsoft Teams & Outlook to access daily workflow
- Good English written & verbal communication skills
- Translate and interpret technical information between English and Hazaragi language for the clients in need.

Pay: $70,832.55 - $85,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Bachelor Degree (preferred)

- working as draftsperson / Architect: 3 years (preferred)

- Hazaragi, Dari (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Full Driver Licence (preferred)
