We are currently looking for Lifeguard on Casual basis across our sites in the Western suburbs of Melbourne.
- The role involves, but not limited to:

- Work as a qualified lifeguard in Aquatic areas of the facility.
- Provide first aid and emergency response in an aquatic emergency.
- Supporting the Facility Operations Supervisor with lifeguard administration, facility maintenance, customer service and providing aquatic education to members of the public.
- Support all other Brimbank Leisure Centres units with operational support.

- To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Leisure Centre, Lifeguard experience.
- Availability throughout the spread of hours including weekdays and weekends.
- A demonstrated understanding of the Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations.
- A desire to deliver high quality aquatic facilities to service all members of the community.
- Strong work ethic and a drive to achieve team goals.
- In accordance with our COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Policy you are required to have received third / booster vaccination before commencing in this position.
- To be eligible for employment at Brimbank City Council you must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident of Australia or be legally entitled to work in Australia.

Our COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Policy requires all staff members be double vaccinated with an approved COVID-19 vaccine. Some roles may have an additional requirement of having received a third booster vaccination.
