**SMS Mining Services is a privately owned, West Australian-based Mining Contractor. Founded in 2000, SMS has progressed from being solely Equipment Rental to now having extensive involvement in the Maintenance, Contract Mining, and Drill and Blast Divisions.**

We are looking for people who are honest hard workers and care about the people they work with, ensuring each employee has the right skill set and attitude to match ours to maintain and enhance our reputation as a leader in the mining industry.**About the Roles**:We are currently looking for experienced Maintenance Supervisors to join the SMS Team. We currently have positions available in The Pilbara FIFO from Perth. The position will see you supervising a team of maintenance HD Fitters for maintenance and repairs to ensure a high availability target is achieved.
- Earn $180k Base + Super + Bonuses
- 8:6, 7:7 Roster

**Skills and Experience**:

- Prior site based maintenance supervisory experience essential
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on developing effective relationships and team building
- Strong knowledge and exposure to Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, and Liebherr machinery
- Integrity, reliability, and desire to achieve quality outcomes
- Previous AMT maintenance software exposure advantageous
- Possess strong time management and organisational skills
- Significant post trade experience in a Leading Hand / Supervisor role
- Strong commitment to Health and Safety
- Section 44 training
- Ability to effectively lead a team with a positive workforce culture
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate / Qualifications
- Valid C Class Drivers Licence
- Able to Pass Pre-Employment Medical
- Computer proficiency
