**Your Role**
Reporting directly to the Field Resources Manager, this varied role requires travel within VIC and interstate to ensure excellent installation and commissioning of the company’s products. You will be on the road most days liaising with contract workers who will support the roll out of equipment to a large customer base. Supported by a friendly team you will maintain close contact through weekly meetings and daily contact with support staff.
**Your duties and responsibilities will include**:
- Installation and commissioning of the company products within time allowances to a high standard
- Carry out all work safely in accordance with customer and company health and safety requirements
- Identify and report on software and product defects
- Accurately report of site visits, time spent, and work undertaken are required to be maintained
- Maintain a close working relationship with the Customer Technical Support Coordinator to ensure effective client communications
- Attendance at site project meetings for new installations as required
- Identify opportunities for customer upgrades and follow-on sales
- Ensure vehicle stock levels are maintained for effective and timely delivery of services on site
**To be successful in this role you will possess the following**:

- A proven 2 years+ track record in a field technician role
- You will have an electrical/electronics background
- Proven track record in an installation and commissioning environment - CCTV/Alarms/Electrical would be great experience
- A high level of customer focus and relationship-building skills
- The ability to communicate technical issues in a clear and friendly manner to both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent technical support / problem-solving skills
- A strong focus on quality and accuracy
- First class time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and perform under pressure
