Test Lead

Exciting opportunity for a seasoned Test Lead to drive and lead testing- Full time fixed term salaried contract until September 2026- Located at our Bella Vista office

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Lead to coordinate and execute testing for an extensive, technology-driven program of work. This role will involve both functional and non-functional testing, with a strong focus on infrastructure testing, performance testing, and failover/disaster recovery.

As a Test Lead within our Core Modernisation department, you will be responsible for the full scope of testing activities across a large-scale infrastructure uplift program. This initiative aims to uplift and consolidate IT infrastructure and network components across the organization, followed by the migration of critical business services. The program focuses on the replacement and consolidation of core infrastructure across multiple data centres.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end testing process for a large-scale infrastructure and network uplift program.- Develop and execute comprehensive test plan, including functional and non-functional testing (infrastructure, performance, failover/disaster recovery).- Develop test cases, requirement traceability matrix and test summary report where required.- Plan, coordinate, and manage the testing activities to ensure all infrastructure components/services are thoroughly tested and ready for migration.- Drive Functional and Non-Functional Testing (Load, Performance, Fail Over/Disaster Recovery, Operational Acceptance Test)- Drive test governance to ensure quality standards, compliance, and continuous improvement.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure testing activities align with program milestones and objectives.- Review test deliverables to ensure they align with the test objectives, meet expectations and adhere to quality standards.- Manage defect triage, risk assessments, and ensure test readiness across all environments.

This is full-time fixed term salaried engagement until September 2026.

Your Background:
Extensive experience working on large programs as a Test Lead and ideally within the infrastructure and migration implementation.

At least 10 years of demonstrable experience as a Test Lead across planning and executing all aspects of Functional and Non-Functional Testing. Ideally in Infrastructure and Network projects with a focus on simplification, automation, security, and obsolescence.- Proven ability to deliver comprehensive test plans and ensure successful execution in complex, high-stakes environments while collaborating with teams to define and implement effective test strategies.- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders, prioritize tasks, and coordinate testing activities across teams.- Knowledge of structured test management methodologies, ensuring adherence to internal frameworks, processes, and best practices for effectively managing all Testing and QA aspects of the program.- Experience working with Test Manager to develop and maintain the Infrastructure Test plan, as well as Functional (SIT/UAT) and Non-Functional Test Plans (including Performance, Load/Stress, Failover and Disaster Recovery) in collaboration with Project Managers, Service Providers, and key stakeholders.- Expertise in identifying and managing testing risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring their timely implementation while measuring effectiveness.- Extensive testing experience across various methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.- Strong experience in developing test documents such as Test Plans and Test Summary Reports document from scratch for infrastructure projects.- Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate, influence, and partner effectively with key stakeholders both within the organization and externally.- Proven experience building team rapport and creating opportunities to facilitate collaboration within the team.

Technical Capabilities:
- Strong experience in developing and implementing, Test plans, approaches and testing processes for System, SIT and E2E testing, including non-functional (e.g., infrastructure, performance, security and fail over testing).- Experience and knowledge in testing within infrastructure and migration domains.- Experience in test management tools such as JIRA and QMetry.
