**What’s involved**:
Allshelter are seeking **two individuals** to manage all inwards and outwards goods movements from the warehouse, monitor inventory levels and pick and pack orders ready for dispatch. Heavy lifting and labor-intensive manual work are required for this role, and prior warehouse expertise is highly valued. Responsible for ensuring the warehouse facilities are kept clean and well organised whilst adhering to safety standards and quality controls.
This role is a **full-time** position and will be based in our Erskine Park Distribution Centre.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Make freight bookings and monitor rates to ensure best value is being obtained.
- Heavy lifting is required when instructed by Production Manager.
- Scan products using an RF scanner.
- Use company ERP system to check for new work orders, review inventory levels, receipt in and fulfill all goods movements.
- Make recommendations for warehouse layout, production efficiencies and review process annually.
- Complete stocktakes - Cycle Counts as required.
- Attend regular Toolbox meetings.
- Reporting any incidents or issues linked to production/store/ OHS & QA.
- Perform external pick-ups and deliveries as required.
- Special Projects on a case by case basis
- Consolidates manufacturing parts, stock parts and covers into shelter kits and pack wrap for shipping. Pick and Pack orders in accordance with the BOM.
- Take photos for QA records.
- Perform general manufacturing duties including cutting and bending and use of hand tools.
- Be proficient in the SOP’s and use of all equipment.
