Transport Coordinator

**The Role**
**Ventia **are seeking an experienced **Transport Coordinator** to join our Defence Base Services contract. Reporting to the Operations Support Manager, this position will see you based at RAAF Base Pearce in Bullsbrook and support the effective and efficient delivery of the Transport and Mail Service on-site.

You will oversee the Vehicle Wash Bay to ensure it is maintained, has consumables stocked at all times as well as all other vehicle wash points on site. Perform and record daily fuel dips and quality control tests while also operating the Joint Fuels Information System, Defence Fuel Management Systems, ChemAlert and other systems as required.

This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday-Friday 07:00am-03:00pm (with some flexibility).

**Key duties, but not limited to**:

- Operate Joint Fuels Information System, Australian Defence Organisation Fuel Management System, ChemAlert, MILIS and other systems as required
- Manage & administrate maintenance plans for all vehicle classes within fleet, including Land Management
- Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets for all products at storage locations as required
- Provide support to units using, Vehicles, Vehicle Wash Bay, Fuel Card usage
- Provide support to users in ensuring Vehicle Wash Bay be left in a clean state
- Perform and record daily Fuel Dips and Quality control tests
- Maintain and replenish consumable stores and associated equipment at Vehicle Wash Points
- Perform testing of equipment to ensure correctly functioning
- Contain, isolate and rectify Hazardous Chemical (HAZCHEM) and Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) spills
- Follow Health Safety and Security procedures
- Participate in the execution of Permit to Work requirements

**Requirements**:

- Australian Driver’s License (_MR Class preferred_)
- Forklift License
- Experience in a similar role (_Highly regarded_)_
- Strong computer skills with the Microsoft Suite
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screening) and police check
