Head of Theatre Operations

Our client is a reputable property developer and investment company with a cultural vision, a philosophy for living. They are currently seeking for a Head of Theatre Operations to join their heritage development project.

**About the role**:

- Manage a revitalized heritage theatre project, focusing on cultural innovation and heritage conservation
- Responsible to plan the operations of a revitalized historic performance venue including back and front of house operations, maintenance, conservation works, budgeting and other general operations
- Devise plans to ensure the readiness of the venue
- Work with the project management teams and consultants in venue planning
- Collaborate the development teams to explore partnership and other development opportunities for the venue
- Liaise between the planning team and theatre stakeholders

**Skills and Experience**
- 15 years or above of experience in operations at performing art venues, including at least seven years in supervising positions
- Sound knowledge and strong connections in performing art scene
- Have commitment to the performing arts and Arts management training
- Proven track record in budget planning and execution
- Good understanding in managerial accounting
- Strategic planning experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of heritage conservation, and/or work experience in a historic performance venue is a plus
