**About the role**
Reporting to the Senior Pipelines Coordinator, this role is based at the Newport Terminal and/or Altona Metering Station and will be responsible for ensuring the provision of asset management (maintenance) and operations across Viva Energy Pipelines network in order to facilitate safe, sustainable and continuous supply to the Victorian market.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- HSSE compliance in Pipeline operations
- Responsible for Implementation of HSSE Management System - Permitting, Gas-Testing, Isolations, Management of Change, Assurance, Incident Investigation, Training / Competency development etc
- Compliance with Pipelines Safety Cases (SMP)
- Emergency Response - on-scene coordinator and incident controller
- Operational Excellence: Support pipeline operations of WAG pipeline and metering stations; interaction with other operational sites (NPT, GLG, Lara) to facilitate maintenance execution and asset management activities.
- Asset Management: Plan, supervise and execute maintenance activity and operational controls, including regular liaison with contractors.
- Cost/Budget support in managing maintenance works in line with budget
- Engagement with 3rd party stakeholders and landowners along pipeline corridors
- Viva Energy Pipeline projects - support development and commissioning/handover of new Pipeline Assets.
**Work Experience Required**:
- Experience in Pipelines operations and maintenance, with highest regard for safety
- Experience in executing maintenance tasks using CMMS (eg JDE)
- Experience in effective dealing with external stakeholders
- Experience in managing contractors
- Technical competencies (eg. Mechanical Engineering/Trade), knowledge of Victorian Pipelines Act and/or AS2885 an advantage.
