**Position**: Pathology Specimen Collector (**_Please note that this is NOT a Courier Driver position)_**

**Location**: Hospitals, across the Greater Brisbane Region - ranging from Caboolture to Ipswich.

**Employment Type**: Full and/or Part-time** -**varying shifts from 6:00 am to 5:00am Mon-Fri, Saturday morning rotations

**Key Responsibilities**:
Your primary responsibility will be taking blood samples from patients and maintaining positive relationships with external clients, GPs, and Nurses.
- Collect biological specimens (blood, urine, etc.) from patients in a safe and professional manner.
- Ensure all samples are labelled and processed according to established protocols.
- Provide exceptional patient care, addressing any concerns or questions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the collection area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.

**What we are looking for**:

- Previous experience working in the health, aged care or community sectors and /or a Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection
- The confidence to work independently, sometimes in solo collection centres
- Efficient time management and problem-solving skills
- A willingness to learn new things and enjoy variety within their role
- A First Aid Certificate
