About the company

We are a well established music education centre located in southside Brisbane. We focus on music development of children from 6-months old and above, teaching children various musical instruments in an innovative digital way.

We are currently seeking an experienced E-Drum Teacher to join our team to help children start their music learning journey.

About the role.

We are seeking from Temp to Perm. Various positions are available with different working hours.
- drum class with our digital teaching software. The teachers should have solid music background, be passionate in teaching young children. Comfortable with digital technology and music digital softwares.

The teachers need to show passion, patience and attention to all the students, and be able to accommodate different levels of progress of group students.

What we require:

- Solid music background and knowledge, able to work with advanced digital music teaching softwares
- Experience in teaching using Digital learning system.
- Strong skills in technique, repertoire and music theory
- Speaking of both English and Mandarin is an advantage.
- The ability to teach and engage primary school students. Experience of working with children is highly desirable.
- Arrange events for marketing needs.
- Participate in all the company’s events, such as concert, and shopping centre kiosk sales.
- Long-term commitment.
- Flexibility to work on weekend.
- A bright, passionate and patient personality.
- Good communication and sales skills with students and parents.
- Can-do working attitude.
- Plan and prepare lessons based on the program
- Instruct and encourage parents and children to participate in all the class activities
- Introduce course programs to parents
- Acquire appropriate teaching materials and resources
- Record students’ performance (by each student) after every class
- Motivate children and encourage progress
- Assess children’s abilities and provide feedback and reports
- Liaise with parents and administration staff
- Create and maintain a network of contacts to ensure work continuity

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm

Pay: $69,610.00 - $74,620.00 per year

Work Location: In person
