What is the role?
Applications are sought from suitably qualified applicants wishing to be considered for the role of Team Leader Corporate Systems Transformation Office.
The AFP Corporate Systems Landscape supports the delivery of all corporate business services and capabilities, the delivery of which enables the organisations front-line and operational functions to continue to effectively disrupt crime and protect the interests of Australia and Australians.
The Corporate Systems Transformation Office leads the development and implementation of the AFP Corporate Systems Strategy and Corporate Systems Roadmaps to uplift and future-proof the organisations ERP and broader corporate technical landscape. The Program seeks to identify and prioritise opportunities to uplift corporate capabilities, increase efficiencies, and mitigate risks to the organisations operations through the coordinated development and implementation of a suite of strategic and considered roadmaps across the complex corporate landscape.
This role will lead the Program Office to influence and drive how the AFP will adopt a holistic approach to uplifting its ERP and managing corporate system innovation, management, and sustainment. This role will give you the opportunity to lead a small team in the strategic development and implementation of organisational change in a complex and high priority environment focused on uplifting the processes, people and technology used in the delivery of the AFP’s Corporate Services.
As a Team Leader in the AFP you will also be required to contribute to the achievement of outcomes in accordance with the regulatory framework, the AFP Code of Conduct and the AFP Governance Instruments. It is expected that the successful applicant will deliver on the core responsibilities and meet any requirements of the position as outlined below.
What will you do?
The Corporate Systems Transformation Office is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly organised Team Leader.
The Team Leader works alongside the Program Manager to lead a range of program research, analysis, reporting, implementation and administrative activities to support the development and delivery of projects, in line with established program and project plans and objectives.
Working within the Program Office, you will be responsible for:
Leading the collaborative development of an adaptable and agile ERP & Corporate Systems Strategy and roadmap that take advantage of opportunities as they arise, and pivots as needed to achieve the right outcome for the organisation and users;
Collaborate with the Fusion Team to shape innovative technology solutions;
Drive organisational change through the adoption of new ways of working and thinking to enhance and modernise the way technology is used to deliver corporate services;
Driving the identification and delivery of program outcomes and benefits;
Leading the wider team in identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities, and provide quality assurance;
Create and maintain a positive culture which is supportive of collaboration and professional development.
Essential Requirements
A Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
A proven ability to lead a strategic team and foster a positive team culture to deliver innovative solutions.
A proven ability to manage a broad array of stakeholders with competing priorities.
