**ADD VALUE - THE ROLE**

Key responsibilities include;
- Participate in the provision of customer services, under supervision from a building certifier, team leader or the coordinator regulatory services
- Participating in administrative training as required to fulfil the role functions, including Council’s corporate systems and the NSW Planning Portal
- Undertaking administrative tasks in accordance with approved procedures to understand the process of development assessment
- Undertaking supervised inspections

To be considered for this role you will need to be currently enrolled, and studying in an Advanced Diploma of Building Surveying, or equivalent qualification, in your **second last or final year.** This cadetship is an opportunity to continue studying your qualification whilst you learn on-the-job, with options for flexibility in how that arrangement looks.

Remuneration package for this position is based in accordance with the Local Government (state) Award in the range of $1142.50 - $1194.60 per week plus superannuation.

Effective from the first full pay period in July 2025, an attractive above-award salary increase and 12% superannuation will be applied.
