**The Opportunity**
The primary purpose of the QA/QC Coordinator is to provide site-based quality control, this includes leading the effective implementation of the Project Quality requirements and standards, processes and management plans and responsible for ensuring quality is kept at the forefront of employees' minds, ensure safe quality operational practices, processes, employee competency and training are in place and are being adhered to.
**Key responsibilities include**
- Provide direction and support to the site construction teams on quality controls.
- Implementation and maintenance of site Quality Documentation
- Ensure that quality plans, inspection and verification activities are successfully implemented for all project scopes of work.
- Liaison with the engineering and supervisory teams to ensure relevant documentation is being completed and compiled quickly and efficiently including As Built/Redline drawings submission, Concrete/Grout compaction Reports/Material Certificates.
- Prepare and submit MDR Index for Client Approval.
- Ensure that all inspections, testing, and verification activities are effectively managed and completed on schedule and ensure all non-conformances are reported and corrective action implemented effectively.
- Commitment towards facilitating a safe working environment
- Provide input into the development and management of site quality procedures as required
- Participate in site audits when and where required
- Assist in offering advice and assistance to all site personnel on quality matters
- Ensuring implemented procedures are effective and relevant to site specifications
- Review and monitor site quality and scope execution compliance
- Provide reporting to the QA Manager on quality of works performed
**Requirements to be successful**
- Degree, Trade certificate or demonstrated project experience gained and experience working within the applicable codes
- Recognition as an inspector through an organisation such as CSWIP 3.1 or 3.2, AWS or WTIA
