Montaze Broz Pty Ltd is a leader in the installation of technologically advanced racking system solutions in Australia. We have provided technologically advanced racking systems for large logístical distribution centres for world-renowned multi-national brands and chains all over the world. We have open position for a Mechanical Engineering Technician. It’s a full-time permanent role.
**The technician will be responsible for.**
Installation and assembly of proprietary automated shelving systems in high bay Distribution Centres (warehouses / fulfilment centres).
In particular:
- mechanical parts,
- conveyor systems
- automation and control systems
Quality checks against specifications and contract provisions.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Sort & assembly of steel frames, stackers, and advanced rack systems of all types
- Assembling and installing mechanical assemblies and components of shelving systems
- Following assembly guidelines, including interpreting drawings, plans and designs
- Operating tools, plant and equipment
- Complying with, and championing Workplace Health & Safety regulations & legislation
- Organising and supervising inspection and maintenance of machines and plant
- Ensuring that designs and finished work are within specifications
**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- A minimum of 2 years experience in similar position
- Relevant trade qualification (or equivalent work experience)
- White Card & HRW licences required
- Working at Heights, scissor lift & forklift highly desirable
- Physical ability to effectively perform manual labour
**Salary**: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
