**Job Title: Yard Hand/Trades Assistant**

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Yard Hand/Trades Assistant to join our team.

**Position Overview**:
This role combines yard hand duties and trades assistant responsibilities. You’ll be working both in our yard and on-site, supporting our team in delivering high-quality products to our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow in the construction industry, with room for learning and development.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Yard Hand:_
- Picking and preparing materials from stock for delivery to building sites
- Performing stocktakes and maintaining inventory
- Delivering materials to job sites and picking up from suppliers
- Keeping the workshop & yard organised and clean
- Trades Assistant:_
- Cutting and drilling aluminium extrusions
- Assisting the installation teams on-site, particularly on our larger projects

**Requirements**:

- Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn (prior experience is a bonus)
- Forklift license and working at heights certification (preferred but not required)
- Experience with power tools, hand tools, and forklift operation is advantageous
- A valid C-class driver’s license is required, bonus if you have experience towing a trailer.
- Must be physically fit and able to handle manual tasks

**Bonus skill (not required, but highly desirable)**:

- Light fabrication / welding experience with aluminium and/or steel

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

**Education**:

- High School (Year 9-11) (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Working at heights (preferred)
