**Job Description**:
A great opportunity has become available for a Dental Assistant trainee to join our busy host based in Ipswich.

As a Dental Assistant trainee your role will involve chair side assisting, sterilizing, setting up for each patient, assisting reception, organising of stock and materials, administration and general housekeeping.

This is an entry level position and junior wages apply.

Key Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist dentists
- Process dental instruments and maintain a clean and tidy work environment
- Meet and greet patients, customers, suppliers and practice staff
- Manage all incoming phone calls for the practice
- Schedule patient appointments and perform follow-up confirmation communication
- Communicate bookings and patient needs with dental staff
- Process payments, health insurance rebates and other claims
- Maintain patient records and other computer systems and databases
