Brisbane, Australia Workfast Marketplace Pty Ltd Full time

Workfast are working on behalf of a ground engineering company that have projects extending across Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Far North Queensland.

We are currently looking for experienced Steel Fixers for ongoing work.

**What you will be doing**:

- Applying, finishing, and cleaning shotcrete materials.
- Installing spacers and 'chairs'.
- Securing steel to concrete bases.
- Tying rebar together with wire, clips, or welds to construct sections.
- Performing manual tasks, moving materials, clearing terrain, preparing sites, and operating basic equipment.
- Conducting grouting work.
- Assisting with drilling.
- Adhering to WHS policies and procedures.

**About you**:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Working at heights
- HRWL - EWP
- Previous experience installing and tying together mesh and steel bars
- Ability to work away as well as locally
- Recently fit tested within the last 12 months and be able to pass a medical
- Machinery tickets are a bonus

**What you get**:

- $50 per hour + penalties
- Monday to Friday work with some weekends
- Ongoing work
- Minimum 8 hours a day
