Lifeguard

**Lifeguard Position**

Hepburn Shire Area

**Duties**

Communicating and building rapport with public and members

Educating public and members

Pool supervision, ensuring safety of patrons

Administering first aid/CPR/Defib as necessary

General cleaning duties of pool hall

Incident reports and first aid forms

Responding to emergencies and incidents including rescue

Attend and participate quarterly in mandatory training

Creating a guest experience at the facility/centre

Understand and adhere to all OHS policies and procedures to help improve safety for members and staff

Identify OHS issues that have not already been reported

**Requirements**:
Ability to swim 200 meters of any recognisable stroke in under 6 minutes

Ability to tow a person with a rescue aid for 25 meters

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $23.39 - $31.38 per hour
