This position will be part time or full time and permanent for the right person, with a 3 month probation period. We expect you to demonstrate skills as a chair side assistant, and have experience with a wide scope of treatment and operators over a period of several years. You need to be able to process instruments, prepare and clean up the surgery, assist the dentists chair side, restock and order supplies, carry out equipment and instrument maintenance, and maintain infection control and general hygiene standards.

In a reception role you will be able to make appointments, process accounts and payments, update patient records, and carry out various administrative and general tasks. Some familiarity with D4W is an distinct advantage.

To enjoy working here you will be a good team player with a mature mindset, and at least two years experience in dental assisting with some experience in a reception role an advantage. You may be calm and efficient, or bubbly and outgoing. Either way you will be able to relate to a variety of people of different ages and from different backgrounds. You will have good written and verbal communication skills, tact, and a flexible approach to problem solving.
