**Transit Dance is looking for a passionate and dedicated Receptionist to join our dynamic team.**

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of Australia's fastest growing full time dance institutions.

This position provides operational and business support to the Operations Manager and core staff of Transit Dance whilst also being the first point of contact for students and parents. The role is a combination of reception, administration, and personal assistance work.

Duties are varied and include the following;
- Meeting and Greeting students and parents
- Reception & Switchboard Operation
- Handling general phone and walk in enquiries
- Creation of Forms & Documents
- Database & Physical File maintenance
- Personal Assisting duties
- Coordinating Office Supplies
- Handling Mail and Couriers
- Event Management Support

The right person will be polished, dynamic and resilient, with a good understanding of fast-paced workplaces. This person will exhibit excellent customer service and have proven computer skills as well as exceptional oral and written abilities.

Intermediate-advanced computer literacy is required, with a detailed knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word being essential. A background in personal assistance and/or dance is also beneficial, but not essential.

**This is an ongoing part-time role - Monday 8am - 4pm and then Tuesday to Friday 8am - 1pm.**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 28 per week

**Salary**: $21.51 - $25.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brunswick, VIC 3056: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- MS Office (preferred)
- Customer service (preferred)
