Payroll Specialist

**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, we are currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual for this standalone Payroll function.
- The delivery of accurate and timely fortnightly payroll processes
- Providing assistance with any pay-related queries
- Maintenance of accurate employee data within the payroll system and performing regular data integrity checks
- Reconciliation of payroll-related GL accounts
- Processing and maintaining Leave balances
- Managing the payroll side of staff benefits - Novated Leases, Company funded Parental Pay, Purchased Leave, Employment anniversary bonus leave
- Processing year-end Payroll reconciliation and EOM reporting
- Preparing and processing Payroll Tax and Superannuation payments
- Identification and implementation of process improvements

**About You**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an end-to-end payroll role
- Sound knowledge of HR, Payroll practices, procedures, and legislation
- An ability to coordinate multiple tasks within set time frames
- High attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills and an ability to develop key working relationships
- Excellent customer service focus
- The ability to work autonomously
- Multi-state payroll experience will be highly regarded
- Medium to advanced level Excel skills.
