**Job Description**:
AECOM’s Environment Business in Perth has an exciting opportunity for an environmental professional to join our high performing Impact Assessment & Permitting (IAP) Team. Due to a strong pipeline of work, we are looking for a professional level consultant to join our growing team. As part of our well-established group, you will take a key role in delivering excellence in client-service on projects from a range of markets including Power, Transport, Mining and Defence.

This role will see you working closely with industry specialists to undertake and coordinate environmental impact assessments on high profile, challenging projects. You will be given the opportunity to utilise your science, management or engineering background to problem solve, provide technical insight and communicate with multi-disciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, drafters, project administrators and contractors, enabling you to further develop your skills working in a fast-paced, consulting environment.

As part of this opportunity, you will gain experience in project management, bid development and developing relationships with clients and stakeholders on a range of projects. You will support the continued growth of our business and foster the development of our environmental planning and approvals capability across the region.

**About You**
- 12-18 years’ industry experience, preferably working within a consulting environment
- Knowledge of Federal and WA Environmental Legislation
- Environmental Review project experience
- Experience working across Renewables / Power / Transport / Defence / Mining markets - advantageous.

**Qualifications**:

- A relevant University Degree in Environmental Management/Science/Engineering (or similar) - essential;
- Project management training and accreditation - advantageous.
