Above 8 is a contemporary rooftop bar and lounge, situated on level 9 of the brand-new Travelodge hotel in Hurstville.

We are establishing a creative and energetic team to deliver excellence, not only in service, but customer experience. Surprising ingredients, cocktail theatrics and a passionate team are all part of the experience at Above 8, and all team members are welcome to share ideas and contribute to the concept we are creating.

- ** Casual rates** - $27.15 (Mon - Fri), $32.58 (Sat)
- ** Part-Time rates -** $21.72 (Mon - Fri), $32.58 (Sat) - plus accrued Annual leave & Personal Leave and other entitlements as a permanent employee.

**Scope of the role**:

- Hosting our guests by greeting, seating and introducing our amazing menu
- Be an 'order maker' through suggestive selling and recommendations
- Managing a section of tables confidently
- Delivering and introducing our meals and drinks to tables
- Educating guests on our menu items and ingredients
- Assisting in the bar making cocktails, mixed drinks, wine and beer
- Be open to learning and genuinely interested in the items on our menu

**Skills & experience**:

- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Confidence to speak to guests about menu items and ingredients
- Have a passion for amplifying the guest experience
- The ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively while maintaining a clean environment
- Have a friendly and professional attitude
- Flexibility and vibrant personality
- Excellent personal presentation
- Current NSW RSA essential (or willing to obtain before your start date)
