We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Head Baker to lead our bakery team in Clarkson, WA.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create, craft, and produce breads, rolls, savory and sweet pastries, and distinctive artisan breads.
- Gauge or scale flour or other ingredients to concoct batters, doughs, fillings, or whipped cream, utilizing balances or measuring vessels.
- Manipulate, stretch, slice, and arrange dough as necessary.
- Oversee oven temperatures, speed settings, mixing machines, and other baking apparatus. Adjust time and speed settings for mixers, or blenders, so ingredients will be amalgamated appropriately. Observe items during the baking process.
- Fashion embellishments as required for any baked goods.
- Ensure a sufficient stock of all concocted products is on hand and guarantee proper storage and cooling.
- Assess ingredients and finished goods for quality. Confirm that food surfaces and baking apparatus adhere to all health and safety standards.
- Sanitize and upkeep baking tools, utensils, and equipment.
- Minimize spoilage/waste by procuring and utilizing correct amounts and rotating products efficiently.
- Arrange baked items in mobile carts according to outlet requirements.
- Sanitize, dismantle, and stow away all baking devices including ovens, mixers, proofers, floors, freezers, and refrigerators.
- Lead and mentor the baking team, manage staffing, and conduct performance evaluations. Collaborate with fellow bakers and guide junior staff and apprentices as needed.
- Develop and implement strategies for bakery operations, including production schedules and product lineup. Innovate and experiment with new recipes and baking techniques, keeping up with industry trends.
- Oversee the bakery's budget, including cost control for ingredients, supplies, and labor. Establish and maintain high standards for product quality and consistency. Analyze and improve operational processes for increased efficiency and reduced waste.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and logistics to optimize product distribution and promotion. Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring the best quality ingredients at competitive prices. Ensure the bakery complies with health and safety regulations, and conduct regular safety training sessions.
- Engage with customers for feedback, align bakery products with market demands and trends.
