An Australian **Federal Government agency** is looking to engage multiple skilled and **Governance and Reporting Officer** to deliver Governance and administration oversight to the Sourcing Program for the IT Division at the department. The successful **Governance and Reporting Officer** will secure an **initial 12** **month** **contract with** **a** **two year** **extension options** partnered with a **rewarding hourly rate.**

The successful **Governance and Reporting Officer** will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Assist in development and implementation of robust sourcing governance policies, procedures, and frameworks and help ensure compliance with organisational standards, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating sourcing activities to identify risks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for optimisation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and risk management, to assist in developing and enforcing sourcing governance practices, mitigate risks, and assist in dispute resolution.

The successful **Governance and Reporting Officer** will have experience in the following:

- Demonstrated experience in a Governance/Procurement advisory role
- Demonstrated experience with ICT policy and reporting.
- Strong working knowledge and working understanding of ITIL and agile guidelines.
- Strong understanding and commitment to customer service principles and practices relating to the provision of ICT services in a government setting
