- Dorevitch Pathology Haematology Department is seeking a dedicated and skilled laboratory technician to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in both specialised haematology areas and the high-volume track area, contributing to high-quality patient care.

**About the role**:Key Responsibilites are as below:

- Pre-analytical processing of samples for routine full blood examination, Hb electrophoresis, and haematological malignancy pre-testing procedures
- Starting up analysers, sample preparation, and analysis
- Troubleshooting analyser and sample integrity issues
- Entering results into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and ensuring accurate reporting
- Collaborating with scientists and working independently on laboratory tasks
- Understanding haematological disorders to assist with panel coding and results entry based on clinical notes
- Maintaining quality control/assurance protocols and taking appropriate actions to resolve issues

**About you**:

- Relevant qualification: Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (MSL40118) or Diplolma Laboratory Technology (MSL50118)
- A team-focused, self-motivated individual capable of thriving in a busy environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of hematological disorders (advantageous but not mandatory)
