**The Role**:Reporting to the CFO, the **Payroll Manager** is responsible for the end-to-end payroll function at TeamKids, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing across a diverse and growing workforce. This is a critical leadership role where you’ll work closely with Finance, People & Culture, and Operations to champion best practices, streamline processes, and support a positive employee experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee fortnightly and monthly payroll processing for casual and permanent employees.
- Ensure compliance with all payroll legislation, awards, EBAs, and tax obligations.
- Lead and develop a small payroll team, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Collaborate with P&C and Finance to maintain data accuracy and improve processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all aspects of payroll operations.
- Manage system upgrades, integrations, and payroll-related reporting.
- Support audits, EOFY requirements, and employee payroll queries.

**What You’ll Bring**:

- 5-7 years’ experience in an end-to-end payroll processing function, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Fair Work, and Superannuation.
- Experience managing large-scale payroll across varied employee types (casual + perm).
- Proven ability to lead system and process improvements.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, HR, Accounting, or similar (desirable).
