Table 26 Group is looking for an experienced Senior Barista All Rounder for our West End branch. We are looking for a customer-focused Senior Barista that can provide the best service possible to our regulars and maintain a consistent standard of service. Table 26 was built on “Eat, Drink, & Love Life” values. We value work life balance and strive to create the best working environment possible. COFFEE SKILLS: - Must be able to produce quality shots consistently in a fast-paced environment. - Able to change & maintain grind according to taste and able to texture milk perfectly and produce latte art. - Impeccable hygiene and high standards of coffee machine cleanliness CUSTOMER SERVICE & SUPERVISORY SKILLS: - Great customer service presence, great smile, presentable and have a happy demeanour. - Have a calm approach with the ability to delegate and prioritise under pressure, in a fast-paced and demanding environment. - Must be able to communicate in English fluently and be able to build a rapport with regular customers. EXCELLENT WORK ETHIC: - Be self-motivated and have the ability to motivate and guide other team member. - Must be proactive, with a "can-do attitude", genuine “care-factor” and a “whatever it takes approach". - Live local / must have your own transport and are willing to commute. - Be presentable at all times and have impeccable personal hygiene. - Prompt and respectful to all team members. - Always arrive early to work and be ready to work on time. - All rounder skill set required: wait work/ dishes/ cleanup and packup/ ordering responsibilities/ opening and closing. - Not afraid to get dirty and get the job done. **As a barista all rounder, your day-to-day duties will include (but not limited to)** - Opening and closing of the cafe - Greeting and serving customers and maintaining a friendly presence - Making coffees, cold drinks and preparing cakes & pastries - All rounder duties that includes but not limited to clearing tables, washing dishes, taking the bins out, cleaning - Keeping tabs on the stock levels and reporting to the manager and ordering - Building rapport with regular customers We are happy and eager to upskill any team member that has the right attitude by offering a variety of traineeship program through the business.
