Through our comprehensive range of Asset Management services, we aim to assist our clients in improving their asset management capability through better information.

BetterAIM is looking for new full or part-time team members to join our Asset & Information Management Consulting team.

In this role, you will engage directly with clients and develop partnerships. The majority of your work will be on a project basis. The work spans identifying and driving value add improvements across the full breadth and depth of the Asset Management System. From strategies right through to operational frameworks and processes.

We know that not everyone has expertise across the whole asset management domain which is why this role is great for anyone looking to grow their skills and knowledge.

Here are some essential attributes you'll be needing in this role:

- Previous experience in Asset Management, Asset Information Management and/or Asset Criticality, Condition, Risk and Performance analysis, monitoring and reporting
- Good understanding of Asset Management and Asset Information Management Standards (e.g. ISO5500X, IAM, IIM, etc.)
- Must enjoy interacting and working with customers
- Must be curious and passionate about driving improvement
- Must be able to demonstrate analytical, report writing and presentation skills
- Must be a team player
- Must be a good problem solver

Here is a taste of activities you may get involved with over the coming months, where you’ll be part of a team or, depending on your skills and experience, you’ll be taking the lead.
- Statistical/financial modelling, in particular lifecycle costing/planning,
- Asset performance monitoring, investment planning etc.
- Asset Management Plan development,
- Asset Information Strategy development,
- Performing Level 1 condition assessments across various asset classes,
- Problem solving, root cause analysis and issue resolution,
- Developing processes and procedures,
- Project Management,
- Integration of risk process with compliance/assurance processes,
- Developing and implementing Asset Risk and Criticality assessments in support of decision making,
- Advanced Excel, database (including SQL), GIS and Power BI skills,
- Excellent data capture, design (in particular asset register design and development), management and analysis skills in the Asset Management Domain.
