We currently have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic Food Service Assistant to joinat our Ascot Home on a **permanent full-time** **basis**.

**About the role**

As a Food Service Assistant you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, presentation, serving and clean-up of meals to our residents.

You will bring a strong commitment to customer service, food safety, and an understanding of special dietary requirements that will have a positive impact on the wellbeing of our residents.

**What You Will Do**
- Assist with monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program
- Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staff
- Ensure all Kitchen cleaning tasks meet CraigCare standards
- Understanding residents special dietary requirements
- Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staff
- Understand and execute infection control initiatives
- Ensure all cleaning tasks meet CraigCare Standards

**What You Will Bring**
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role (medium to large Kitchen)
- Excellent communication skills and be a team player
- Flexibility to work varied shifts across any day of the week
- Previous Aged Care experience in Kitchen operations
- Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards
- Provide NDIS clearance, Rights to Work and up to date COVID & Flu vaccinations
- Experience as a Cook is **highly desirable**:

- Sound knowledge of Food Safety
