**How will I help?**

Interest Rate Risk and Modelling Uplift (IRRMU) program is a Treasury-led initiative with the aim of building a best-in-class integrated IRRBB infrastructure and move towards enhanced APS117 compliance. The Program's objective is to deliver an uplift to Westpac's IRRBB (Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book) measurement, policy, governance, management reporting and control frameworks to ensure adherence to the upcoming revised APS-117 Prudential Standard. The Program aims to deliver an uplift to the QRM Core Product Model that underpins the calculations required to meet the APS-117 regulatory capital calculation and establish the required analytical toolsets needed to meet the regulatory obligation as well as improve Treasury's ability to manage the interest rate risk inherent in the customer balance sheet.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Conducting risk assessments and prioritize testing efforts based on program priorities, criticality of functionalities, and potential impact on business operations, implementing risk mitigation strategies as needed.
- Developing comprehensive end-to-end test strategies tailored to IRRMU project, considering system complexity, regulatory requirements, and business needs. The strategies to encompass all aspects of end-to-end testing for treasury technology and business processes, including requirement validation, functional testing, integration testing, and UAT.
- Contributing to program roadmaps and identifying and communicating testing risks, updates, to effectively coordinate delivery with technology and business teams.
- Liaising with Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, Testing Partners, and the Technical Testing team to develop, implement and deliver Program and Project Test Strategies.
- Scheduling tests for execution and then monitoring, measuring, controlling and reporting on the test progress, the product quality status and the test results.
- Implementing automated business regression testing capability.
- Upskilling business knowledge in the testing team and ensuring this knowledge is applied in impact/risk assessments and test cases.

**What do I need?**
- Track record of test leadership, particularly in implementing testing strategies.
- Hands on experience in Relational Databases including querying and navigating through complex SQL Stored procedures to understand the core data flow and peripheral elements.
- Excellent stakeholder management experience. Ability to collaborate closely with stakeholders, including business users, developers, project managers, and quality assurance teams, to communicate testing progress, issues, and risks effectively and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Experience in Agile methodologies, toolset and with the ability to adapt testing approaches based on project requirements.
- Exposure to Business testing. Business facing UAT Test experience. Should have flair of both technical (System Test) and business testing (UAT). Data analysis with some analytical skills to slice and dice the data for test reviews for efficient testing.
