
Telecommunications Network Planner

**Key Responsibilities**
- Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment and systems, such as telephones, cables, VoIP, Internet connectivity devices, and other related technologies.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems to ensure their functionality and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to telecommunication systems, and perform necessary repairs.
- Evaluate system performance levels, identify user needs, and recommend improvements as necessary.
- Coordinate with other members of the team and other departments to ensure seamless telecommunications in all areas of the organisation.
- Assist in the design and installation of telecommunication infrastructure for new facilities or system upgrades.
- Provide technical support and guidance to users to help them understand and use telecommunication systems effectively.
- Document all installations, repairs, and system updates, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Comply with all safety procedures and regulations at all times, maintaining a secure working environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, including new products and techniques.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a telecommunications technician, preferably in a similar setting.
- Solid understanding of telecommunications systems, including VoIP, data networks, wireless technology, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and interact professionally with clients.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest telecommunications systems and trends.
- Professional certification in telecommunications or related fields is a plus.
- Willingness to work outside standard business hours, as required.
- Ability to work on traditional PABX systems such as NEC and Panasonic.
