Who you are

Do you enjoy working in a hands-on environment? To be in the running for our next Sales Co-worker, we need you to have:

- A passion for our home furnishing products and working with customers
- A ‘Togetherness’ mindset where you’ll work closely with your team and other departments yet also be able to work independently
- Creative thinking and a keen eye for aesthetics and detail
- Strong communication and customer skills, ensuring we keep the customer in mind no matter what we do
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- A safe mindset, and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive heavy lifting
- Must be available to work a mix of early mornings and late nights, including Thursdays and the weekend.

**Your responsibilities**

As Sales Co-worker within Kitchens, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

- Be an IKEA Ambassador by understanding that you impact our customer’s experience by being able to offer solutions and answer questions that relate to their bedroom and home furnishing needs.
- Responsible for ensuring that the sales area is stocked, presentable, attractively merchandised and correctly priced
- Being an expert in your area to build strong relationships with customers throughout their researching, planning and purchasing journey.
- Supporting other Sales areas within the business when required

With the Sales department leading the customer shopping experience, not only do we need to have extensive knowledge of the IKEA product range but we’re constantly finding new ways of making real connections with our customers to maximise sales and profitability within the IKEA Vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people
