Amici Early Learning is seeking a Group/Room Leader-Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team.

We are a privately-owned Early Learning Centre catering for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years of age providing Childcare and Kindergarten. Our Long Day Care Centre operates from 6.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday, and you will need to be available to work 5 days per week between these hours.

You must hold:
A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA equivalent
A current Working with Children Check
Current knowledge of Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
Understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations
First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis (preferred)

Experience Required:
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA equivalent
Group/Room leader experience of running a small team
Minimal computer and Ipad skills for daily documentation
Strong understanding and knowledge of the EYLF

You must:
Be reliable, motivated, positive and an enthusiastic Educator
Be confident to run and lead your own room and team
Have excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills
Have great time management skills
Build strong and positive relationships with families, children and the community
Flexible with your hours
Thrive in a team environment
Facilitate children's learning through a child directed educational program
Take responsibility for observing, evaluating, recording and planning for the educational program reflected by the early years learning framework.
