**About the role at BDO Australia**

Each audit is an exciting opportunity to learn and understand the ins and outs of how a business operates, looking at both the big picture and detail to deliver quality audits, and add real value to clients. Using BDO’s international audit methodology, you will review financial statements, prepare, and maintain working papers, identify risks and opportunities to improve internal controls, whilst building client relationships as a trusted advisor

**Seniority**

**Entry Level** - A role for someone with underlying potential, good motivation and ability to learn. Typically no direct experience is required.

**Responsibilities**
- Audit Procedures - Conduct supervised audit tests and procedures to obtain sufficient and appropriate audit evidence
- Maintenance of Audit Working Papers - Prepare and maintain detailed audit working papers in accordance with firm policies and industry standards
- Financial Report Preparation - Assist in the preparation of financial statements, footnotes, and other financial reports

**Strengths**
- Attention to detail - Accurately identifies and rectifies discrepancies or errors that exists in information and deliverables
- Collaboration - Works with others by being open, clear in communication and listening to achieve goals
- Numerical problem solving - Works with numerical information and performs mathematical calculations to solve problems

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
