**Personal Carer Assistants - Part-Time and Casual**

We are looking for people who genuinely care and in return, we will provide you with an environment where you feel supported and appreciated. We currently have a number of unfilled PM/ND shifts available and a handful of AM shifts.

As a PCA, your role will be required to:

- Provide quality support to residents with their daily living activities.
- Always work as part of a team to help others and demonstrate a team spirit.
- Complete reporting and documentation based on HQAC policy and procedure.
- Deliver excellent customer service in all that you do.
- Always interact with the consumer and their families in friendly, helpful and positive manner.

Your experience:

- Qualified with a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (Ageing).
- Previous proven experience as a PCA working in Aged Care is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to work to required consumer outcomes.
- A current National Police Check is essential.
- Previous unsuccessful applicants need not apply.

**Duties**:

- Assisting residents with personal hygiene and getting dressed.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Observing and reporting on changes in the health or status of the resident.
- Taking vitals, height and weight.
- Responding to emergency situations.
- Providing support with academic, social or recreational activities.

Part-time hours: 15-30 per week
